What Levels of Apprenticeship are there?

Apprenticeships are equivalent to academic education levels. The Intermediate 2 level is the equivalent of GCSE, while the educational equivalent of the Advanced 3 level is the A Level. The Higher 4, 5, 6 and 7 levels are equivalent to foundation degree and above. Some apprenticeships may also give you an additional qualification, such as a diploma.

How Long is an Apprenticeship?

An Apprenticeship must last for a minimum of 12 months, but can vary in length for up to 24 months for Level 3 and Level 4 programmes.
